DHUP (Developing Humanitarianism for the Underprivileged) is an exceptional initiative that embodies the selflessness of a dedicated team. It is a genuine non-profit organization that tirelessly works to provide for the underprivileged. DHUP is dedicated to bringing about positive change and supporting sustainable growth in the community. Although DHUP’s progress has been slow, it has remained steadfast in its commitment to realizing the initiators’ vision for the underprivileged. The gratitude in the eyes of parents whose children have grown up to become skilled contributors to society is a testament to the transformative power of DHUP’s efforts. Through DHUP, these parents have found a home where they can see their children thrive and succeed.

Commitment of the deepest level and unshakeable perseverance characterise DHUP and its mission to serve distressed and disabled children of Dhamrai and surrounding developing areas in the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. For over a decade the modest organisation has provided invaluable support to children of disadvantaged backgrounds and also their families. Overwhelming challenges of access to funds and resources never daunted Dhup’s sustained efforts nor the turmoil of a devasrating pandemic such as Covid 19
